bought another D22 and converted it to a 2.7 , now the original 2.5 hadn't blown a rod and the last owner had done a part strip on the timing cover area ! the unit turns over easily by hand , so im guessing the actual block is in good order , trucks got 180k on the clock so i'd be surprised if this unit hadn't been unpgraded ? im hoping to use the bottom end in another truck so is there anyway I can check to see if the bottom end has defo been upgraded??
