Problem is, as she is going to have a load liner, towbar and air sus. fitted next week, it doesnt make sense to reg it until 1st of March...or does it????

Cant wait another three weeks........gimme gimme gimme... :cheers2:

Don't you need a 5th wheel as well, or are you fitting that yourself?

I think there are a few members with this problem and its a tough call

for me it wasn't an issue, the vehicle is leased so I dont care about its residual value and I needed a tow vehicle for work

If you dont NEED it yet and can wait, it may be the right thing to do

I have the same problem but have been told that truck has to be registered the same month as delivery
My problem is that if I was going to buy a car this late in the reg year it would be a pre registered dealer car with a good discount

does look that way...

... registered as 'new' provided the vehicle:

•is registered within two weeks of collection - this may be extended to one calendar month at peak periods, eg before 1 March and 1 September
•only has reasonable delivery mileage - DVLA considers reasonable delivery mileage to mean the vehicle being driven from the pick up point to home using a direct route
•hasn’t been previously permanently registered
•has been stored before registration and is a current model or is a model that has ceased production within the last two years

Bough the fifth wheel last August would you believe, but the dealers, who also, ordered the Nav have kindly dry stored it for me. The Fiver is white, so have a white Nav for it. Will put up some pics when she's here. So am going to claim 6 months depreciation from Nissan. See how that goes....

Cheers
