Hello there, my Nav always have a clicky sound come from underneath even idling. Heard this noise since day one receiving the car from dealer, is it normal? After some testing, the clicky sound will appear after driving above certain speed (e.g. 30mph, not quite sure the exact speed). The sound will gone if driving slowly (e.g. in a carpark looking for parking space).... The sound doesn't like come from engine bay, but more below the driver bay/ after manifold of engine, anything possible relate to catalyst or DPF? The clicky sound will speed up and slow down itself, seems not related with throttle/ brake pedal apply.

Also I can smell certain burnt smell coming from below my vehicle. This happen in certain occasion and I smell that 3 to 4 times already, sometime even come into cabin through the driver side air vent. The smell especially noticeable when I stand outside next to driver doors which coming from under the vehicle, also can smell that coming from the area of brake bump under the hood.

I think this is from you stopping the car when it happens to be part way through a DPF regeneration. It would be hot and stinky as a result of that. When was your last decent long steady drive above something like 50mph?

If it is the DPF, you'll probably find that after a decent drive you wont notice it again for a week or so depending on your driving habits.

Thanks Dan, sorry for bit of busy these day and didn't reply the post. I contacted the dealer and got the similar answer - the clicky sound is the AdBlue injection functioning and the burnt smell is the sign of regeneration from DPF, nothing to worry about.
