Hi Guys,

I need some help with my D40. On mornings the engine will start up beautifully, but then shut down in 5 seconds. Start again and would run only if you keep your foot on the throttle until it warms up, after which it will start the whole day.
I`ve tried all sensors, ECM, new injection pump, remove and decarbonized head (was choked to the max), up graded common rail as well.
HELP guys !!!

Lots of white smoke on startup would indicate glow plugs faulty. Also, check the auto choke (idle up) to see if that works
