Hi


I've just stumbled across this website.

I currently drive a 2001 BMW 320Ci, but currently have adverse weather conditions, to be exact 3-4 feet of snow!

I think you can maybe see my predicament. :lol:


My parents have just changed up to Freelanders but if possible I would want to be different.
I love the look of the Navara, would have to be in black.

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are as I wouldn't be seeling my BMW until the new year anyway.

Tax - do the goverment rub their hands with glee when they hear of a Navara owner?
Fuel costs - Would it be better for me to be living right next to a petrol station and pay a daily visit each time I would drive it?

Tax is a bonus with the nav, classes as a light commercial vehicle so road tax is 200 a year. As for fuel, many people quote different figures. There's a whole thread dedicated to it in the navara chat page.

I see ones with different rear roofs on them, is there a site all about that?

Erm, do you mean the different kind of tops for the. Back? Nope all the same site. Look under exterior or accessories for into on those or try searching for snugtop or truckman.

road tax = £200/year
MPG = just above/below 30, depending on model/how you drive etc.
tops for rear - have a look through pics in 'members navs' section - many diffferent options !

Only thing while looking through autotrader is the interior, pretty basic?

Now look at the hilux and Mitsubishi interiors. Or even the ford!

Not BMW standard, got loads nicer with the 10 plate facelift though.

It's best in class in the interior dept IMO.
