I bought this on ebay and had been using them on my thai D40 for about 20k km.

When nissan serviced my car on 40k service, they found out that my ebc brake pads are cracking all over the place. Anybody experienced this with ebc brake pads?am I getting a failed products or maybe a fake ones?no wonder I found almost no improvement in braking since the first day the pads were installed.

The funny thing is, when the dealer installed back my original brake pads which still have lots of live in it, the braking is much better than with ebc pads :shock: . As I already changed the brake lines with braided stainless and use Motul dot 5.1 ( ebc pads also installed with braided stainless brake line and motul dot 5.1). I dunno if changing the brake line with braided stainless and motul dot 5.1 has improved so much on braking, I should have never bought ebc in the first place :mrgreen:

Has anybody here experienced the same as mine?
Should I send email and claim EBC?

Never had a problem, found yellowstuff far better than any other colour. Bleeding needs to be done right.

People can be concerned about that sort of appearance on pads but it is nothing to worry about and is completely normal on performance compounds that have been used quite hard

It may be worth upgrading to our yellowstuff compound DP41747R if you need an upgrade in brake performance
