And driving a hairdressers car, a BMW at that. Still can't see how it's not insured/legal to drive if it's bring driven in England......
 
Gutted for you mate but glad you've a new one on the way, however check that if it's written off your number plate doesn't also go with the settlement :!:

Quite. I used to work in France and my UK registered car was insured here. If you get fobbed off why not try the Ombudsman Service. Write a letter to Honest John or some other newspaper. I think the Sunday Times have a good section as well as some other papers. When they get involved (if they do) then it is amazing how quickly things can get sorted.
