Hi mate and welcome :)
The numbers do not match up at all and I think the seller has not read them correctly
This chassis no jn19udzzu0075190 should read JN1PUD22U0075190 which would had a YD25DDTi motor fitted with the con-rod problem :( unless the 'mod' has been carried out :?:

Hi:

Be extremely careful about buying! I have a 2004 (Dec) model which has just had a brand new engine fitted by Nissan (ÂŁ6000) after experiencing the con-rod problem one month ago. Only buy a vehicle you know has had a new Nissan engine (which comes with a fix to prevent the con-rod issue); re-con engines are suspect! You may not be interested; however, just to say that I have just placed my own vehicle for sale. It's very special: not only does it have a brand new engine with a 1-year warranty from Nissan, but it has a super Elsbett vegetable oil fuel conversion kit fitted (providing considerably cheaper running costs). If you want to see my car, use the following link: http://www.usedcarsni.com/69786895

I'm asking top book price, but I think you can see why: it's basically in the condition it left the showroom in Dec 04, plus has many extras and perks (including new clutch - ÂŁ1200 - alternator - c.ÂŁ300.

All best, Jonathan

Hi Alex,

Actually, no, the vegetable-oil addition does not affect the warranty. I have been running my car on the fuel modification since 2009, which is noted in my service book. When my con-rod started giving trouble at the beginning of the month, I left the vehicle with Nissan. They simply disconnected my new pipework, removed the engine, and sent a copy of my service book to Nissan UK along with all other relevant stuff. Contrary to popular belief, vegetable oil, when used in conjunction with an authentic high-quality conversion - such as the Elsbett one - enhances lubrication and reduces wear; you also get better performance since vegetable oil captures more energy than equivalent volumes of diesel.

Anyhow, after a couple of days, Nissan agreed to provide me with a brand new engine (ÂŁ4500+ parts/I paid the labour of ÂŁ1050), and they simply reconnected my veg oil kit. You simply can't do better: a new engine that runs superbly on fuel more than 40p a litre cheaper! Unfortunately, living in N Ireland, I have no local suppliers of reconditioned SVO, otherwise my savings would be huge.

All best,

Jonathan
