Hi all.
I took my speedo pod out to change the bulbs in it.
After refitting it I have only got warning lights and indicators. No mph, no rev counter, no fuel gauge, no temp gauge, no clock and no mileage. I have checked all fuses and connections all fine.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks

If it was working fine before removal, it must be a re-connection fault, or you may have a dirty/bad earth that you have disturbed?

I had trouble getting the correct lights for mine Chris, I have the white dial face lift and Nissan couldn't identify the bulbs, could it be the same problem? Brighter bulbs have burned out a wire?

I don't think so as he has lost all gauges powered by different circuits, they are earthed to the chassis by bolted eyes, during the removal he might have disturbed an earthing point or if the earth wire was short actually broken it at the crimp point.
Re: Dash and air con control bulbs, many year ago I was shocked at how much heat damage there was to the bulb holders from ordinary incandescent bulbs so swapped over to LED lamps, I chose blue for the dash (or any other colour you want, forget red you lose the needles at night), also blue back lights for the A/C and white for the buttons.
Wrote the whole lot up with pictures on here somewhere.

Yeah I was shocked as well to be honest, Nissan said they could get me the bulbs but we couldn't get them out of the housing, I will have a look to see if I can find the thread, I've got white now but a different colour might be nice, I have changed the air con and that to yellow and green
