[Devil D40]

Hi there. As the title states I have the petrol 4.0 v6 and I’m looking to force it.


I’ve looked at converters to help find sutible turbos but I don’t understand all of what’s needed so I can’t find out what turbo I should be looking for?
I know I’m after a smaller turbo because I want a quick spool other than that I need help. Can anyone recommend a 2nd hand turbo I’d find in a wrecker that would be suitable?

If you look through the 350z/370z forums I think you will find a lot of useful info.
They often go down the compressor route as turboing a V6 is not so easy.

Unfortunately this site is uk based and here we dont have the petrol nav
So finding someone that mods that engine here will be difficult however id be interested to hear your progress should you go forward with it

Think a v6 would have to be a twin turbo? Failing that it'll be a huge plumbing job to link the 2 exhaust manifolds to one turbo!

My V6 diesel is single turbo, yes the exhaust is complicated...

One reason why a compressor is a good option.
