I sat on the M6 for 3 hours today. :x

Anyway at tickover in this cold weather the heater would only blow lukewarm. The switch that pushes the revs up to 1300 kept the heater warm, I was surprised I needed it though.

Is the d40 a bit overcooled for our climate? Has anybody else experienced this?

leaning how to use a d40 heater is a pure art form mate
My one tip i could give you is always make sure the aircon is switched off or youll ether be steamed up or cold or both

I always leave the aircon on, cos I think it is temp controlled, but it does seem cold in the truck - i have the temp warmer that I would think, and the fan on 3 when it feels cold :?

Hmmmm

maybe I'm a natural then, as I've mever had a problem with the heater or its controls. Aircon is handy for quickly demisting the windows, but don't set the temp dial low. Other than that, I only use the aircon to cool things down.

Its only climate controlled when you have it on Auto.
