I think they are the centre of the streets. I thought they were post boxes as the one up the road is spot on one, then i noticed there are an awful lot of them. They tend to be directly under the centre of the road name. As you drive the road names pivot on the dot.

Thats if they are the same dots im thinking of.

If you're on an long 'A' Road for instance, without any turnings, there are loads of them. I thought they might have been lamp posts but that's too much detail for Sat Nav - Isn't it?

Can anyone tell me what the 'small circle's are on the Sat Nav screen :?: They appear all along the roads on the screen but don't seem to relate to anything. They must represent something. Can't see them mentioned in the manual.
