Got 2 more mods done on the NP300.

Power locking tailgate and mirror fold.

Made a cheap power lock tailgate on my d40 as seen on here which worked well.

Just easier this time to buy the kit.

Both kits worked well, fitted well and worked flawlessly, now have auto mirror fold on locking.

Biggest fear was taking drivers door card off ? but undamaged luckily ?

Yes glad it worked also, yes you still need to splice wires im afraid. 3 wires, the rest of it plug and play.

Yes I could take some pics of the instructions.

The auto fold module is currently showing as out of stock.... has been every time I've checked for the past 6 months though

Not that I plan on getting one, certainly not for that price. I live in a rural area, so rarely have the need to fold them in. If I go to the supermarket, I just fold them in manually. While I like the idea of auto-fold, it's no hardship without it for me.

I ordered them both early Jan, they are a kit from Malaysia by the looks of it.

Yes I wouldn’t say I use them all the time, rarely got in the town that much. Just had a spell where little birds have been sitting on the window ledge looking at them selves in the mirror and pooing all down the door??
I was always forgetting to fold them in and I quite like it?

I will get some pics of instructions tonight.

Right picture time??

As you can see the instructions aren’t too bad. The little cap you have to get off to undo the screw is a little arkward seems quite tight to get off. Probably be easier to buy a little plastic trim remover kit. Very easy to damage the plastic.
The worst bit is getting the trim off around the door handle very fiddly and delicate. I used a little metal pointer which has a u on one end which I could get behind it and pull. Once I got one clip out they all came out apart from the last one was a real pain to get out just a lot of riggleing involved. The main door card popped of well around the outside, poppers didn’t break or anything. Got to disconnect the wire for puddle light at bottom of door then disconnect the wires to window/mirror switches. Also have to crack off the little plastic triangle plate near door hinge which is stuck at top so just pull that down till it comes off. Then you can just slide the door card up towards the top of the door. Should just pop off then??

I did have quite a fiddle getting it a start back on along the bottom of window got to really push it in towards bottom of window near hinge end before you drop it down, which took me a while to get it to go down.
Then just remember to reattach the wires before you click it shut, reinstall screw and cover then put the trim round door handle when you are sure you are done and it works??

Want to know anything else just ask.
