Although my truck is only 2011, noticed a lot of surface rust on the chassis at the rear. Decided to have a proper look and check the spare wheel mechanism as its probably never been used.
Hmmm....lots ugly surface rust particularly on some of the weld seams. Spent all afternoon with wire brush, blu-steel and waxoyl. Deep Joy, could think of better ways to spend a sunny afternoon.
Anyhoo, i got to thinking i may as well do this properly and wondered if there are any particular weak spots on the Navara where rust really likes to work its way in? Places i need to concentrate on etc etc.
