Hi All, When I set off on a journey the heater temperature increases as the engine warms up as you'd expect but it seems to get hotter than the 22oC it's set to, then after about 20 - 30 mins it goes cold and stays cold for the rest of the journey. I also noticed on the couple of times it was warm since I've had my D40 (59 reg bought end August) that the air con will blow hot for a bit when it's set to cold (it's cold then will start blowing hot after a while) I've been searching for info on here but haven't seen anything similar although I did see mention that the auto setting can be dodgy. I usually have the heater set at 22oC and Auto - I've tried it with A/C on and off but that makes no difference. Can anyone help me diagnose this?

Cheers.

It is a in built feature of the climate control from Nissan that the car decides the internal temperature, not you! You can slightly improve it by removing the fluff from the internal temperature sensor (the little grill near the heater controls), an airline blast helps. There is a little fan in there too, it could be broken or bunged up with dog hair.
