Hi

Heres an interesting one for you. I have an 03 plate Navara. It has developed a knocking noise from under the cab, but it only happens when it rains or the roads are wet.

On closer inspection, it is coming from the 3rd cross member from the front, there is a U shaped bracket that I believe should have a rubber bush on it. There is no bush and I have no idea what it is called so therefore can't order a new one.
Nissan are struggling to identify it over the phone, which means I have to take it to them and pay them some monies.

Before I do. does anyone know what it is and where I could get one from????

Thanks in advance

Tim

No. its not the prop shaft. It looks like some kind of cab anti vibration bush... but thats a guess. U shaped bracket is attached to the floor of the cab and then runs through some other metal work attached to the cross member.
