I have a 2006 Navara (new model) with 70k on the clock. The other day at almost the same time as the fuel warning light coming on it went into what I would call limp mode. 3000rpm max but no warning light. Filled up with fuel and thought it would be fine but it did it again.
No warning light on dash. Switched off and restarted and it ran fine.
Changed the fuel filter thinking it was a blockage but it did it again.
It only seems to do it when I come to a stop for a couple of mins at say lights. Switch off and restart and it's fine. A bit awkward at times though.
Any ideas. Could it be a throttle position sensor, assuming its got one.
Davie.

This sounds like the suction control valve on the fuel pump (SCV/QCV). I had exactly the same problem on mine. I got a new SCV from nissan for around ÂŁ120 and fitted it myself along with a new fuel filter. Members on here suggest doing a ECU reset as well (search ECU reset on here).....95% sure this will sort it out. Good luck
