It's unlikely that amount of oil has come out of the axle breather. You need to check all the trucks fluid levels as a matter of urgency, to track down the problem. :?

So even though there is a load of oil all over the underside of your truck, all the levels including the axles are right? :wink:

I don't want to be talking down at you, but one of the levels must be down :|

Just to be sure, you have to check levels on;

Engine
Main gearbox
Transfer box
Front axle
Rear axle
Brake/clutch fluid

 

I thought you meant under bonnet levels. Yes I will check them when I got 2 mins

Ok I will re phrase my question

Does anyone know what the breather is attached too which is located near the brake servo? And why with would be breathing posatively heavy?

The breather could be from a gearbox....... but guessing may send you on a wild goose chase.

Checking ALL the levels is the best and most reliable way to trace the leak. Unfortunatly you are going to get a bit oily and it'll take more than a few minutes to do.
