Thought i would do a poll so everyone could vote on what MPG they are getting ,i have bought and sold a few d40s since their launch in 2005,some have been to the moon and back and others have been lower millage, the feed back i have got on a whole is that manual d40s will give you 25+MPG and the autos are a good bit behind that ,of course its all dependent on how your drive it or what its used for etc ,but what are you guys getting and how is it being driven to get that ?
Be truthful guys ...be interesting to see what you are getting and why ...Mr mods be nice to make this thread/poll a sticky thread to :cheers2:

I genuinely get 36mpg from mine.

I drive it normally around town, 35-40 mph, although my town isnt that busy, and im not stopping every two seconds.

I dont do many motorway miles, but on a recent trip to london I was getting around 37mpg on the motorways

It's already been done mate:

Btw mine (auto with DTE) around 22-23mpg depending on driving

I voted 30+, because my YD engine isn't in a Navara. :D

I get 12km/l (34 mpg) in the worst case which is short running in winter.
I get 15km/l on an open road trip, best ever was just over 16 km/l (45mpg), average is 14 km/l (40mpg).

Will do better when I can raise the gearing. Currently 2800rpm at 100km/h.

Around 22/23mpg also. Mine's an auto with DTE/FPCR/FCD2/BOV/GT28RS/MVS/ETC/PROFECB SpecII.....nevermind.... Mileage hasn't changed despite all the mods, though. really.

In the last 2,000 miles I've had an average (from the onboard computer) of 33.9mpg and that includes approximately 300 miles of towing a trailer with one or two horses. Incidentally, I've stopped driving like a pensioner during that time too.

2011, Tekna, Manual with DTE.

Yeh but instead of counting through page after page this thread will run as a poll so we can see/count up the average of what people are getting :thumbright:

The computer is always telling me 25. something, never seem to get 26+ (i've never worked it out properly, not really interested :D ), my journeys tend to be short trips around town, with the occasional 5 mile BLAST 1 junction up the M5 to Taunton. Earlier in the year we went to cornwall and i drove like my gran for the week, i managed to get around 32 i think it was - bloody hard work though

My 2006 euro 3 would average 30ish mpg

My 2008 euro 4 was *****! would average 24mpg when it was standard, was sick of pulling into petrol stations.

My 2011 is exelent on fuel. averaging 33.7mpg with mixed driving and my fuel bill has dropped even though fuel prices are higher, so the 190s are deffo better on fuel that my old 2008 euro 4!!

Must be my driving then

My 190 does around 35-37 but I do lots of longish runs with m/way driving as well have seen over 40 on real steady runs (like your granny)

I am more interested in what your MPG figures are under normal average urban driving ,normal being IE> driving not crawling

When i was doing mainly long journeys between 30 and 100 miles i was getting an avrage of very close to 37 on every tank now i am doing shorter jurneys it has dropped to about 34/35 towing it avrages 30 or slightly less for very heavey things

as stated 35-37mpg my daily route to the office includes A & B roads and some Mway all speeds are driven from 30 through to 70-75mph ie going with the flow, so going on your POLL I am a BIG FAT LIAR

Before I had my nav serviced, I could get 30.2mpg out of it...
Now its been serviced, I struggle to get even 25mpg from mine..

Would have thought it would have been better after a service.
