well, Ive got a Snugtop with windows, it has remote key entry. I dunno if you will be in and out of it alot, I am, and the remote is a severe pain in the @ss. If you have your hands full you have to fumble the damn key out of your pocket, and you cant leave it unlocked and just nip in and out of it.
Also one of the remotes packed up a month after getting it, the lock fell to bits and jammed it shut, and it leaks.
All in all, not impressed with it - get one with a T handle

If you can afford it the RoadRanger rh2 pro is the one to go for. Very well made with solid remote opening side doors and t handle rear glass door that fits really well. Imho they are the best looking too. Fitted it a few days ago after a really bad experience with the autostyling asx hardtop (Ill explain why in another thread in a few days once ive calmed down). :thumbright:

Just stuck an Autostyling ASX on my Ranger with mixed feelings.

It looks spot on and I'm really happy with the build quality, however......

It came with no fitting instructions apart from wiring, so I downloaded them from the tinterweb. The pictures were so **** poor and the instructions made little sense at all, so I completely ignored them.

Instead of completely butchering my loadliner as they suggested and cutting it all the way round under the bed edges, I cut slots for the clamps and fitted the top onto the upper lip of the liner. The top sits nicely on top of the liner and although I have a black line between the top and the bed, it looks fine and I'm far more happy with it than having a loose top edge all the way round inside.

I also threw away the aluminium strip that wasn't cut to length and was supposed to be drilled and riveted to the front edge of the bed??????? So much for easy fitting. I'll make my own seal for the very minimal gap that's left in only a very small area.

Really suits the truck though - in fact I've not seen a Ranger that looks better.

Hi SparkyDave

I work for Auto Styling, thank you for pointing out the issue with the fitting instructions. We have brand new fitting instructions for the ASX - they are being loaded onto the website today. I apologise for the instructions not being sent out, I have raised this concern with the workshop manager. Thank you for your positive feedback with the product! If you have any questions about your hardtop I will be happy to help :)

Sparkydave, i think the alluminium strip is used when you have removed the ladder rack which comes on a Ranger. If the ladder rack is in place then you dont need the ally plate (i think!)

I never Even got the seal strip for my asx top from auto styling! Love the look and build quality of it but the paint after one wash with a microfibre MIT has loads of swirls and marks on it. Don't know if it's a paint thing but afraid to wash it again!

Rob i was disappointed with the snugtop on my D22 that kept leaking we took it back off made sure there was a tight seal between truck and top which i my view was perfect, water tested it, it was actually leaking round the glass rubbers, i purchased that direct from snugtop in Darlington cost me the price of a secondhand Berlingo i sold the truck with the top on before i got round to doing something about it
