Hi

I'm experiencing alot of squeakiness from my suspension I think. It's terribly annoying, has anyone else experienced this before. Also whats the cure??

I've tried spraying wd40 on the leaf springs on the rear and any moving parts on the front too.

But still not cured it.

Thanks

Assuming it's not just doing this on full steering lock I'd say you need to jack the body up to 'release' the rear springs so the rear axel is hanging on its mounts.
Get yourself some White Lithium spray grease (about ÂŁ5 from Amazon/Ebay) and spray it in between the leaves of the spring to prevent the metal to metal contact :thumbright:
Dry bushes on the front suspension are best cured with 3-in1 spray lubricant (WD40 evaporates) to penetrate the bush, followed by the white spray grease to the maintain lubrication :thumbleft:

Check out the front suspension ball joints could be dry/worn.

I know this an old post, thought i'd put this up as one possible solution to that annoying squeak from either the right, left or both on the front suspension.
So i got this squeak going on from the right front suspension. My Navara was tuning heads mostly for the noise rather than the looks. So did a search. Checked all the joints and they all appeared fine. Odd though from cold the squeak wasn't that bad hardly heard it. Only after a few miles it would rear its head. Worse was crawling in traffic. So did the thing tried to find a solution. So after a few tins of 3 in 1 oil a few tins of that spray on grease stuff on all moving joints and hey presto. It was even worse, not just the right but now the left, in stereo. Even from cold. Tried more cans of Spray on oil more grease, and still even a gust of wind would have it squeaking its head off. 3 weeks like this and i was getting really annoyed with my little self. So that was it, i thought with all my lubrication i did, it only made that squeak, squeaker. Therefore I will do the opposite, get all that lubrication off. Trip to the car wash ÂŁ3 for 9 mins with the jet was. Jet washed all the joints and anything that moved.
3 later weeks and I'm still squeak free. Only down side i'm not turning no heads anymore....

If it worked for you then that's 2 of us. Phil
