Been to japshow at santa pod this weekend, what a mess with camping mud and rain.. Lots of silly jap sports car getting stuck in the mud..

We did a couple of spins round the campsite making a bigger mess and showing what Jap 4x4's are actually meant for. Opps Sorry the white van and red Masda (Herd him on the phone to mummy later, that some big 4x4 had made his car all muddy.)

I had to try and capture all the detail

It was a dodgy phone camera in all fairness, + the mud on the lens.

Didnt get chance to put in on the qtr mile, by the time we got there on the sat it had started raining and they never reopened the RungWhatYouBrung event due to it being a bit slippy.. Even to the protests of we have 4wd and we are used to the slippy stuff.

Wouldnt mind find out what its qty mile speed is tho.. How would you do the (must do) trye burnout at the begining. Or would you use 4wd-H as it is a straight.??

Still wondering if the little golf that broke its drive shafts doing donunts in the mud got how.

With the mandatory shot of adrenaline, I think you may well identify the spot in your transmission which is not designed for the 1/4 mile... and I can imagine the friendly response you'd get from Nissan Warranty Dept if they recovered you from the strip at Santa Pod :D

aslong as the vehicle hasnt been tampered with they will honour the waranty so put a stock standard one on the track and they will have no choice but to honour the waranty

Ok...

So how is the 1/4 Mile any different to a set of Traffic Lights? As long at the truck is standard, which it is.

The question was which is better 4wd or 2wd.. If i am wrong, but there is no speed limit in 4wd High?

Pardon me for not sticking to "the question"... :(
