mine is 12 days old and i was called on wed by nissan uk asking me to take it back to the dealer to have a new engine fitted
there is eight at the dealer now
because mine is less than 30 days old it is being replaced with new

they won,t say only they have found a fault with the engine and they have to be replaced soon as possable
i was told that production as stopped waiting for the new engines
not good new for the navara again
the 3.0 lt must be ok they are loaning me one for two weeks

Still nothing on google... I'll believe it when I see a press release... (or pass the nissan forecourt and it's full of 2010's!!)
 
not heard that one, but did get a call from nissan uk to saying that my new truck could be up to 6 weeks longer wait but wouldnt say why, you wait till they ring me again in a week i will as them out right and say if you dont tell me the truth and i get to here of it else where i want my money back!

no its the nav tekna 2010 i have spoke to someone i know is was reg in march is as been called to have the new engine fitted

At least you will get the new one .with the new engine
i have drove mine for 12 days it is better than the old one untill i got the call for it to go back

pete800r, i don't know whether this recall is true or not? however what really puzzles me is the fact that you said in your original post that your first D40 had lots of issues. Was it 4 clutches, axles, halfshafts etc etc? asnd yet you're perfectly ok with ordering another one???

Am i missing something here? :scratch:

I'm also talking about the new 190ps navara. Your the first to talk about it, just no explanation on the fault. A new engine :?: :?:
 
Renault engine in the V6 you are getting a loan of.........be careful with that :whistle: Good of renault to help out Nissan with the recall of the engines they didnt build too.......the French have just went up in my estimation :thumbleft:
