As above, first post on here as just ordered a new Tekna Connect Auto from local main dealer which is due in a couple of weeks. Only called in for a brochure and ended up ordering one due to the great spec and decent drive. Couldn't believe the value for money at just under £20k (after Nissan fleet discount) plus the VAT, new reg fee etc, also then added protection pack and towbar - Does this price seem about right with the final total at just under £25k including VAT

I'm now looking for advice on tops/covers for back. Not sure whether to go for a tonneau type (there is a rigid plastic type with gas struts on ebay - anygood?) or a full on hard top - anyone offer any advice please? whether they are watertight etc

Also, anything else to consider, or any further info or help on the Navara would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Congrats on your order and welcome! That price seems very reasonable!

As for tops, it's down to want your going to use the rear for? You will never get the rear of a nav completely water tight!bdue to the gaps around the tailgate, but you can make it better.

I have a mountain top on the rear of my truck, which is a aluminium chequer plate top that opens using gas struts. It's great for me as I have all my tools in the back, I can strap loads onto the mountain top when I need, and I keep the pick up truck look!
