Hi there from sometimes sunny Guernsey

Thank you for accepting me to the community

Where is that I hear you ask? well we are closer to France than the UK and one of the only British islands to be invaded by the Germans in WW2.

Just about to take possession of my first Navara, a sprightly D22 2002 Outlaw 2.5 Deisel, I have to say I have been looking at the Navara for a while now and cannot wait to get my hands on it

I am hoping the forum will be the "font of all knowledge" for my new (old) pick up and look forward to sharing ideas on mods and quirks that may have arisen in the past

Welcome to the forum! What an interesting place you live. I assume it’s served by a vehicle ferry? Does it cost much to get there and back? In Oz it can cost so much to get a vehicle to Tasmania I could fly to New Zealand and hire a car for less...

When you can, please update your location in your profile (nearest major town or city is fine)

Greetings

Thank you JDO

I live on an island, 25 square miles and a speed limit of between 20 -35 mph, yes, we have a very unreliable ferry service that costs an arm and a leg to get anywhere, but that is only if the vessel is running as it breaks down a lot.

Naming a major town or city nearby is difficult, the main ports we go to on the ferry are Poole in Dorset, UK or St Malo in France, it is expensive to live here, its on a par with central London and we have a total population in the region of 70000.

I have attached a file with my location

Haha, sorry, that is a sentence I cut and paste into most new replies. In your case I’m sure Guernsey or Channel Islands would be just fine - in six months when another forum member is talking to you, it well help them understand context (and avoid suggesting you take a long motorway drive or something).
