My navara has now been recovered via breakdown truck and taken to the main agents Howards Nissan in Weston Super Mare Somerset. Now waiting for the result.

Sounds like what we had with the Murano....I was fearing the worst and it turned out to be just low oil level....I asked them why the light doesn't come on, they said it need to be really really low level ;-) Hope it is something simple like that bud...

 

Just received a call from the garage who tell me there tests show no oil pressure at all. They are now investigating it further.

 

Nissan garage have found the oil pump as smashed with a possibility of metal fragments entering the oil ways therefore i need a new engine, they have loaned me a car untill the new engine is fitted a Nissan Note, can anyone loan me a peaked hat and a black & white cat

 

From your initial post i was fearing the worst but at least you're getting it sorted under warranty, nice new engine :thumbright: :wink:

Can't help you with the hat, but there is a black and white cat outside my house most days

 

Hope you're not a builder, can't say you'd get much in the back of the Note :shock: :lol:

Gutted to hear the engine is dead, but it should be like a brand new truck when you get it back!!!!

 

I'd want a balaclava to drive one of those never mind a peaked cap and cat!
