I don't know if this topic has appeared before but here goes. My outside temperature gauge in the dashboard is going haywire and reads between -34 and 0 never anywhere near the true temp. I asked the local Nissan agents to check the sensor when the vehicle, a 2007 D/C 2.5 went in for its 120 000 km service but they did nothing and the reading is still all over the place. Any idea where the sensor is located and whether it is feasible to replace it? It might not be an important feature and sure doesn't affect the vehicle's performance in any way but it will be nice to have everything in the vehicle operating properly.

Thanks GreaseDonkey, I will try it this weekend. The gauge showed -42 this morning, I know I am in the Southern Hemisphere but we are still a long way from the Antarctic where the local official South African Antarctic Expedition Station reports average temps of -50, a touch nippy!
