Hello all.I have had trouble with the Heater on my D40 I left it in to a Garage near my work so they tell me it was a sticky switch but it takes forever to heat up I was thinking it may be the Pollen Filters that may be blocked and need changing I hear you say in this weather but I need to get it sorted so I went to the Search Menu at the top of the page I can not find any photo's of how to strip out the glove compartment I striped it apart yesterday but dont know what to strip out next to access the Filters I know this was done before any help would be great as I am Freezing me nuts off at the Moment when Driving.

Mate there is alot of things in the pollon filter that breed and can make you ill helped if blown out, If you have blow them out already throw them away until you get new ones, Try ebay i got some for ÂŁ20 genuine ones. From dealer expect to pay ÂŁ40 onwards.

Thanks Alex - haven't had time today to mess with it so will try what you said in next day or two - sounds a bit easier than taking out screws - am ok taking them out, but on past history with car trim can never get the little sods lined up to put them back in again !

To be honnest of all the cars i have removed bits of trim on, the Navara is miles ahead in terms of being easy to take to bits with out breaking things getting the dash out is really easy, now try that in a vauxhal astra
