Evening everyone, I have some questions that I am hoping someone will guid me to an answer :D

:I think the left hand side mirror was replaced at some point but unfortunately was not fitted properly. I can hear wind whistling through when driving along and when I gave it a quick wash yesterday, water came into the cab. Anyone had this problem before? Just a case of prising the mirror off and realigning the rubber seal?

: Rear left window does not work, motor?

: When you plug a trailer in and reverse will the parking sensor go off? Or does it detect the trailer being plugged in? If not ill have to bypass the sensor with a switch so I can turn it off when using a trailer "which is a lot"

: front right hand side headlight has condensation, is that just a question of heating it up so it re-seals?

:Interior lights do not turn on when opening the doors, I haven't checked the fuses yet but I'm guessing it might be that.

I have never driven a d40 before so I'm not sure if this is normal but the clutch seems to bite fairly high up.

Sorry for all the questions, just want to iron out these little niggles.

Cheers
Alex

Yea sorry for all the questions in one post, just didn't want to clog up the forum with loads of posts. Thanks for all the good info I will give it all a crack this week. I looked at all the fuses earlier and all seems fine. There are 3 fuse boxes? One behind the glove box, one near the battery and one near the air filter correct?

Thanks guys

Just found the problem with the interior light, it's not a fuse or the switches on the doors. The light it's self is dodgy when I flick the little button thing to the middle so the light will turn on when the truck is unlocked/opened, I have to fiddle with it so its in a certain place.

Took the mirror off yesterday and siliconed it but that didn't work, still whistles when driving and leaks :(

Are you sure the wind noise is from the wing mirror? I remember a few D40 owners having issues with the window seals on the front windows getting noisey at motorway speeds.
I'm not 100% mate, it might well be coming through the window seal.
