I want to order an updated map disc from my 08 navara aventura, how do I tell if its a x6.0 or x7.0??

You will have x7.0that's from 2005-2009
After 2009 there am x9

And they're generally not worth the money. For the cost of the disc (assuming you're buying Nissan), you'd be better off buying a standalone navigation device. Or a 'backup' disc from eBay.

Thanks for the input, I've taken the disc out and its dated 2004!!! Well over due for an update.
Not gonna buy from nissan, dealers take the mick with inflated pricing!!
