hi all, can anyone help ?????
i have just swapped out my D22 YD25 engine after it followed the trend of chuckin a rod and my new unit wont run.
can anyone tell me if the pump is ecu matched or should it just fire up ?
the system is bled before anyone asks but it just wont have it , i know the engine runs cus i heard it before purchase
any ideas guys cus its drivin me mental :scratch:

These trucks are real pigs to get started first time. try cracking the nut to each injector one at a time, to make sure they are getting fuel.
Also after every few spins re-prime at the filter.
when i first started mine it took two days, I used a fully charged battery and a porta-power till they were flat, charged them back up over night and then the next day after a few more attempts with a fresh battery and the porta-power she fired up.
Just keep the faith!!!

cheers guys , have cracked off all injectors and they are receiving fuel ,bled,bled and bled again yet still no joy . one thing i have noticed tho is that the red immobilizer light is constantly lit on the dash when the ignition is on . could this be my problem ???? whats it all mean !!!! ukel: uker:

same situation as mine.took me 2 day keep cranking it till fired it up.dont know how many times already recharge my batt just to restart it

Try spraying some brake cleaner into the inlet manifold, that should do the trick, certainly did for mine.

Worked for me too. Had problems so gave it a squirt and it went straight away.
Don't like the dam stuff though - don't use too much. Good luck
