Ok so now I know we will have the funds soonish, I've started looking again for an Outlaw. well where have they all gone :serious:

There's a few on Autotrader, not my first choice to buy from but there's a couple with category N on them, is it worth looking at anything like this please when we are ready to buy?

People are not selling as they dont have anything similar to replace with and a few have become victims of the buy back.

Not good news, last year when I joined there were quite few buzzing about /images/Nissan-Navara_net_2015/smilies/tango_face_crying.png/images/Nissan-Navara_net_2015/smilies/tango_face_crying.png
A few arent selling also because they have devalued so much!
Actually the V6 seems to be holding its price.

your right, they seem to have gone up a bit and quite scarce.

So whats the best model after the outlaw v6 please just in case as this is the only one i have researched with you all?

Insurance etc probs? https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201804065301125?make=NISSAN&postcode=pe72bq&advertising-location=at_cars&model=NAVARA&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&radius=90&sort=sponsored&price-to=14000&transmission=Automatic&price-from=8500&page=1

I bought a 65 Plate Tekna Auto last week I'm guessing one of the last D40's, I could've bought a NP300 but I'm not a huge fan, like you I wanted a V6 but couldn't find one. So far I haven't regretted my decision it was like being reunited with an old friend.

Lots on ebay, but you might have to bump up your savings to around 15000 unless you are vat registered, then there is lots around the 12000 mark
Not VAT registered, we have about 14k to spend, some with VAT take them to over 15k that's just bit too much and like you say a few around that price. my OH doesn't want a high mileage one, although I've read out the comments on here about them. but I think there will be a compromise somewhere.

To be honest I don't understand why some have VAT and others don't, if we are not VAT registered, where do we stand with it when we sell it, do we add VAT because we have had to pay VAT.

I'm blooming clueless :surprise:

I don't think I'd mind, but having read about the V6 being smoother and no belt probs we steered towards the V6.

All of the Teckna's are confusing, so many different ones, we've another 2 weeks to go so hopefully something will appear for us :smile2:

A Teckna models are perfectly fine choices, the 2.5 engine isn't as good as the V6, but they are cheaper and more plentiful. Very few have timing chain problems and unlike pre 2010 the engine shuts down if the chain stretches (as opposed to destroying the engine).

Don't be confused with the Teckna and Acenta names and model ranges. There were only 2 real options leather/not leather and satnav/standard radio, (although the real cheap ones didn't get roof bars)
