I'm about to buy a Thule towbar mounted cycle carrier capable of carrying 4 bikes. I have the large chrome bumper with step.

Are there any towbar kits that are better for this type of mounting or ones to avoid? I only need single electrics so I'm assuming my Navara has a plug ready for accepting the electrics without having to splice into the lighting loom? Looking on ebay there are loads but I only want to buy once.

There are 2 types of cycle carrier, those that fasten to the ball and those which fix to the neck so you can tow and carry bikes at the same time.
Assuming you want the first type, any will do. You can buy a dedicated plug and play electrics set, quite pricey at £70ish, but essential in my opinion.
