Looking at some of the posts in this section various people have said they don't work.

I recently fitted one, mid range response is much better and fuel consumption improved by 5mpg.

Interested to see what the panel think.

Haven't got a chip but thinking the same thing myself.....do they work or not? 5mpg sounds good. what chip did you buy. I am having problems trying to decide the difference between these chips. Some on ebay are ÂŁ80, some are ÂŁ300+....both offer the same results. Good luck with the poll.

Mine works great on both power and economy if I drive sensibly, but my Nav is Euro 3 and I've heard they aren't os good on Euro 4's although some of the teccies disagree. I'll let you know what Wansbeck Performace says, he should know

David
No mate, it's the other way round, Euro 3's are more economical than Euro 4's, and by a fair bit too. I wish mine was Euro 3

I bought one of the cheap one at first from eBay, ÂŁ100 it cost and it did naff all apart from make the truck smoke more. Sent it back. Then bought one of the dearer ones and have to say it does work, does naff all for my fuel econ now as I drive fast LOL. Mid range performance is very good and I've lost the flat spots in the rev range

What I wish is that anonymous voting wasn't allowed. There are three votes in the category "I have one and it doesn't work", so why not name and shame? Share what's happening, that's what a forum is all about..
I voted on the Poll that mine did not work. But i am giving the person a chance to send a replacement, He is wating for new ones to come in. (But this has been about 8 weeks) When it work it was OK but would only last about 30 to 40 miles then cut the power down. Got fed up of adjusting it every time

Once i get new one i will try again and report back :thumbleft:

Ok I have installed today my el-cheapo from Ebay which is traced back to this website http://www.ukdiesel.co.uk/ but I only paid ÂŁ75 for it. At first I didn't think it did anything, although the MPG started to creep up. Then I upped the power a little, and then a bit more and all of a sudden...Wow!

I've driven about 150 miles today, and the car seems to have a constant surge going on now. My wife calls it Murano-esque as that car has the effect of a powerboat....There seems to be no to very little lag now and a very constant firm push....But even more impressive is that I have gained an 20% improvement in economy. No matter what I did I couldn't get my EuroIV above 21.4 mpg, now after I driven it like I stole it and a large part in 4h mode I'm averaging 25.9 and still going up....So even without the power I would be happy with that for just ÂŁ75....

Now I really want to do that shoot-out day, the MPG is real...But I just want to make certain that the power experience is real and not in my head...I want to measure it

Mine looks very similar except that I don't have whatever it is at the bottom. I have got an green led on the other side. The improvement in fuel consumption is beyond my expectations. I will keep an eye on the need for adjusting. Hopefully it won't be necessRy for me as I tuned it whilst it was -3.

Drove best part of 400 miles today, mixed motorway and dual carriageway. Cruise control set at the speed below (I must have been on an autobahn  ). Bear in mind I am running BFG's which are taller and have a bit more rolling resistance, EURO 4 engine.

Impressed with the improvement in mpg, I never saw anything like this before the chip. Sorry about blurry photo.

Hi I'm Als drive 07 which is the euro 3 i believe.
fitted a cr @ÂŁ139 off sleazy bay.
have used a tank and a half so far and its very good mid range and about 4 mpg better of even though i have been in 4 wheel drive for about 150 mls during this time.
bigest problem is trying to get further jumper settings off the supplier to see just how much I can push it.
