Hi, my business partners 2012 Navara V6 seems to change gear easier than mine - up and down, I sometimes have to kick down where you'd think the box would automatically move down a gear. It's had an oil change when the 4x4 switches were changed, could the oil level be a bit high, or any other ideas please?

Cheers, Barney

The transfer gearbox (where the switches were replaced) is separate from the main automatic gearbox.

Any oil change in the transfer box would have no bearing on the automatic transmission. You need to have the automatic gearbox fluid changed. It will not be cheap as it is a Japanese specific fluid.

Good luck and keep us posted.

The V6 box is supposed to be adaptive and learn your driving style.
