I just wondered how many Navara owners on this forum use the 4x4 capability, as in get there trucks muddy, there seem to be lots of 22" wheelers, and not many 15" on gnarly tyres. If you got the pimped style of Navara do you need the 4 wheel drive? perhaps we could have a poll "pimped or bounced" .

spyderpigg, I added a poll to the post mate

Mine's a blinger (tastefully) but the 4WD gets used quite often, no rock crawling etc, but fields, icey/snowy weather etc yes :thumbright:
Im the same as LT :thumbleft:

Ive gone with 'not very often' but over the 3 months Ive had the nav its been bloody handy when 4x4 has been needed. In a couple of boggy fields and of course all the recent snow :thumbleft:

In fields a lot on sites for work. A lot of towing off road where every bit of traction is needed! The 4wd was the main reason for buying mine. The ability to travel the length of the country in comfort, hook up to a generator and tow it across a site with ease is great!

i put not very often, only gets used when its snowing or when i use it to tow some one out or it horrid weather so i put my truck on the trailer instead of the open top tractor or buggy at work. Then when goin across the fields i need it.

Cheers

I voted not very often. Although last year perhaps more than before due to a contract I had to got me into some unlisted places in the UK...But nothing that had me have to change out my 22's...They still got me out of trouble...And when towing the boat on the trailer...But no hardcore muddy stuff, although I'd love to take it to Devil's Pit which is nearby :)

Nothing yet..but i do intend to. There is a great off-road place near by. I took a Landy around there last year. That ****** through the course...so would love to take the Nav around there. I know it isn't a Landrover...but i am sure that it could cope :D

i get mine loaded up with mx bikes over various muddy pits or fields twice a week. Many van's get stuck and have to get pulled out by the tractor. Never got stuck yet. With this winter we've had the tracks and roads have been awful so i've used mine alot

used 4 x 4 for last couple of months due to bad weather been really bad where i live still got the snow from christmas here.

bought mine for the towing capability, i drag a large heavy plant trailer about with building materials on etc.

I have NEVER used the 4wd option on my nav, i never intend too either, its NEVER been offroad either, allways on tarmac :)
