Hi guys and girls, am fairly new to the forum so firstly hello to you all. Been scanning through for a while and there's always tonnes of useful info and it usually come's with good humor, so top effort :rockon
I have a 2009 D40 double cab in shiny grey
Its been great apart from one thing! It has been back to the garage under warranty 3 times in three months for the rear seal leaking (where the prop-shaft goes into the rear transfer box).
They did it the first time and it leaked two days later, told them to clean the transfer box breather as it may be blocked, they assured me they did that, and replaced the seal, that lasted about 4 weeks. After a run to Cheshire and back(only live in Manchester so its not a massive trek) happened to check the seal and yep leaking again.
It is now back on the drive, problem is I work offshore so haven't seen it yet, I know there is a lot of info regarding this topic and it seems a major fault/f***-up by Nissan. Is there any way to fix this problem for good, either with an aftermarket replacement seal, as sticking a new seal in every month will be a real pain the a**e.
Anyhow rant over and cheers for any advice you have :thumbright:
