My biggest concern here is that our moderators have not managed to grasp the fact they are not here to make policy but to enforce it!
which bit of that do you not understand?
if people have not made a complaint to you then there is no problem regardles of your own opinion.
if you feel that strongly you should get the members to vote on the matter, and the vote should always include a DO NOTHING because regardless what you might think the vast majority may not care a jot.
there has been swearing on the forum from almost the begining and we have managed to police ourselves with out any issues.

ANd whats wrong with a site being run a Nice way ?

im still waiting for a link to another forum where there is no word filtering ?

I am just so paranoid after being on the mud club forum.
The owner of that forum has his nice little band of fascists and if the going gets sticky, they close the place, which for me was actually inconvenient as I had something arranged, I do not really pop my head above the parapit there because they would ban me straight away, it is a dour place, bit like stepford wives really.

The Mud Club is a much respected club.
It was the club that bought me into the 4x4 world and also hepled me choose a Navara.
The site is a good friendly site :)

Lots of nice people saying nice things and keeping things nice :)

Brian & Scary,

you need to get a grip on this matter now!
i have already suggested a vote and you really need to organise it sooner rather than later it is the only fair way of dealing with this situation. a vote will bring closure and set the ruling.
this is my official apeal to you as moderators.

Yes they are, but can`t you see that it is a resource already, why clone the ******* boring place, you can just feel the tension, the self censorship......THE FALSENESS OF THE WHOLE GODDAM ******* PLACE.

jayk, this is a private forum (ezzer) allowing the public to access it...if it was a truly public forum then there would be no moderation ...i know you att and firestarter are upset that you cannot swear as you like on this site but lets all bite our tongues and make up...replacing letters with asterisks ain't that much of a big deal, is it? ...there are specialist forums where you can swear all you like , why not let of steam there ...i believe that brian and i speak for the majority of members and i really hope we can use this compromise to better the forum...

I don`t want a kiddie forum that is family safe and all that old ****, I want to come in here, kick back and relax in an adult fashion, not watch my P`s & Q`s incase some little scrote is watching...*** get a life BTS and scarey, I know, maybe alittle personal, but thats how I am feeling right now.
By the way, ity is a public forum as soon it is published on the net, it is no longer private and the laws of slander etc do hold here.
