I've just cancelled an order for a new Navara NP300 in Thailand.
I should have done more research beforehand, but I was very surprised (dissapointed) to find the "new model" NP300 uses exactly the same engine as the 2010 onwards models i.e. The 190 PS, 450 NM.
I even contacted DTE tuning and Andrew confirmed their "upgrade" for the old model will plug straight into the new one.
It got me thinking was it worth shelling out 20,000 quid for what is essentially a nicer face and a much improved cabin with some fancy toys inside. I decided it was not and bought an immaculate 2012 4x4 6MT with some good extra's and only 5,000 miles on it for 8,100 quid.
The difference should buy a decent set of wheels and tyres!
