I've got the D22 with Cassette and CD multichanger fitted. I only recently got the pickup from work but there is an issue with the CD multichanger which, I admit, I haven't had time to fully get involved in.

Basically - there is no life from the multichanger head. It doesn't appear to connect with the radio head in any meaningful way. I've tried to insert a CD and lost it (Foo Fighters, Wasting Light - gutted). It won't recognise the CD nor eject it.

My plan is to take the whole lot out and check connections at the back but I just wanted to see if anyone had any input before I do this.

Does it happen a lot?

Firstly, is it a standard kit or after market?

Pretty sure it's standard. It doesn't look aftermarket - no bells and whistles.

Right, I've had the console off now to remove the stereo and there appears to be a whole cable missing. I've attached a couple of photos, does anyone know firstly where I would get a replacement wiring harness and what it would be called and, secondly, why would anyone remove it in the first place? Battery issues maybe?
