After a year and a half of chasing them, I've finally got an update disk for my 2011 Tekna out of Nissan. I've dropped it into the truck only to be told the file is unreadable. Can someone check for me to see whether Nissan have messed up again and sent me a disk for a pre-Connect system...

The details on the DVD are:

Hi I have an 11 plate as well and like you have been trying to source an updated disk
After an hour and a half at the local dealer checking chassis numbers and serial navigation numbers I was told that there is no update available
Do you have a serial number on the disk that came with the car

No disk came with the car, it was loaded on the hard-drive on the build line

Wired Nissan sad I should have had a disk when I bought car as the system still works on a DVD update but same as you had no disk when purchased car

Well the guy says it's '12/'13, but it won't work if you've got a Connect system

If anybody is still interested, I brought updated DVD for my LR disco (when I had one) from these people and it worked great, they also have nissan DVDs, I might try for my 2008 D40.

I bought the "backup" from eBay but the bloke has disappeared for some reason. disc worked first time though.

Has my road in it which the original one did not, the disc I took out was marked up as 2006 and my Pathy is an April '08 so already two years out of date when new.

So much better and worth a tenner.
