Good day mates!
I'v just joined the forum! Need help on an issue.

Recently bought my 2nd 2013 D40 with YD25 and 5sp auto.


The issue is, when I release the accelerator, the gear stays engaged and rpm high as if its a manual... RPM comes down along with deceleration with jumps as the gear downshifts automatically.


Kindly advise on what could possibly be the issue/s and its solution.

I don't recall hearing this problem before, but the first thing I would do would be to get a Bluetooth obd for my android phone and use an app to see if the throttle position is behaving normally.
