Can one help please. Few years ago eml came on with egr fault.AA man blanked it all was ok. Decided to to egr valve few weeks ago all ok then eml came back on with same fault, cleaned maf and intake manifold ok for few days then fault came back. Thought new egr was faulty so got it exchanged ,replaced ok for few days again then eml back on same fault, really doin my head in now any ideas greatly recieved. Cheers

What year is your truck? Is the egr blank still on?

Does a new EGR need to be re-learned/recalibrated for the ECU for some types of EGR?
If so, remove battery leads for a bit, or do the reset dance thing if that is a known way to reset things....

Do you know what fault code you are getting?

P0409 code.

I suggest remove the egr, take off the plastic cover and have a look to see if the actuator is sticking.

Reset the ecu by disconnecting battery seems to have done the trick .many thanks .
