I have read a few of the threads and it seems that wiring issues are not uncommon on the D22's. When I got the truck the lighter socket wasn't working, the fuse had blown. When I put the replacement fuse in, the left indicators came on but not flashing.

I have a multi meter and the wiring diagrams from the workshop manual but never done any problem solving, any ideas on where to start?

I had indicator problems years ago, due to a small fire where the loom had short circuited due to abrasion against a sharp reinforcing bar immediately behind the centre consul, I would pull the consul off and start there.

Not had a chance to start looking into this yet but the cold weather this week has thrown up another problem. When the weather has been very cold, roughly below freezing, the indicators will come on then not come back after the first off from the relay. Once the truck has warmed up, roughly 5min of driving they work normally. Do you think this is related to the above issue or a separate one?

Will put up a photo when I find the cable found something very similar to Chris Vince but only two wires burned, looks to be on the same bracket. Not sure if this will solve the lack of indicator/hazards which stopped working yesterday but it is almost certainly part of the failure. Will get it all back together in the morning and take it from there.
