Hi there, some of you longer standing members may remember me, I had used a 2006 Aventura as a compant motor for a couple of years.
That went and the company gave me a van and a pay rise to get my own car, so I bought a Octavia vRS!.
Three months after that I got laid off and went back into contracting, vRS not suitable for ma job so I bought a Landrover Freelander TD4 commercial.
Getting to the point now where its pointless running 2 motors, finance on both, 2 MOT's, 2 insurance and so on.
Thinking again of getting a Navara, D40, outlaw or aventura. I cant claim VAT back so looking to pay about £13000 which would relate to about £370 a month HP over 4 years. If there was a particularily good deal on something quite new and lower miles then would stretch the finance over 5 years to keep payments around £370, absolute max is £400 a month.
So, anyone in the know seen any decent motors around, preferable trade franchised dealers?
Would need to have a canopy on and a load liner too. Only reason id prefer the aventura is the heated leather seats, if I can get an outlaw with the premium pack on that gives that, then thats good enough. Never really used the Sat Nav on the other one and BT voice quality was **** anyway!
Didnt have too much bother with the D40 I had, just a clutch (my fault it went) and full prop shaft was replaced both done under warranty. Will expect to be doing around 50,000 miles in it so will be getting an aftermarket warranty where needed, at least to cover the bigger items.
Again, if anyone can point me to any deals then its appreciated. As you can see Im based in Scotland but travel the UK with work.
