I have just put a deposit down on a new V6 STX 550 witch is the same as your Outlaw. I was one of the first in Aus as they only were realest last Friday at a Sydney motor show and I was strait on the phone to order one. Every dealer had no idea about them and needed to research and get back to me. But by the end of the day they found some info and took my order. I was told that it was the 6th in Aus. They have given me a rough date of the end of January for delivery. I am a bit concerned after when I researched it was going to have sat-nav, reversing camera, 19inch wheels, leather and boss stereo. But with the information that the new Australian Nissan have released (as attached) there is no mention of any of the good stuff. They very over priced if they don’t contain the upgrades as they are $61000 + on roads = $68000 = 42 541.52 British pounds. A lot of money for a basic ute with a V6 diesel. I might have jumped in a bit soon as if the upgrades are not standard I will not be buying the Ute.

Any info of people who have them in the UK would be good.
Would like to know how good the V6 is???
A few photos would be good to

Not sure how it works over there mate as specs seem to vary country to country, but here in the uk the V6 comes fully loaded with all the good stuff, including i believe an uprated Bosh stereo (better than Tekna spec). And it's about ÂŁ33,000 ish. As for pics, very few V6s about so far, so not seen to much !!!

Hi to hooker67, hey mate i also have ordered one of the stx 550's 2'nd one here in launceston tassie i'm told, according to the contract i'll be up for $65200.00, only extra's i got are nudge bar, driving lights and towbar. dealer delivery free and towbar free. Government rego and stamp duty the biggest cost as far as extra's go. as for what the english utes go forget it, i believe the only and main difference to the series 4 navara here is the motor and gearbox. I personally don't like the roof racks but will have to live them, as the dealer here said they can remove them, but as the ute is manufactued with them they will not take anything of the price. Hey this also according to nissan website is for a ute that they have not officailly named a price for yet, good one eh!

Well i can't wait till it arrives sometime late January or early Februrary they reckon. but it should be good but costly...

cheers

Worm..

I also ordered one before they were even announced and the official price is $60,990 aud plus on road costs. they dont have the leather, sat nav or the 18" wheels, Bose stereo or any of the other goodies the Outlaw has as its interior is basically a Pathfinder Ti. They do have the crappy roof rails, and a ute lid and liner, both of which I dont want or need, other than that they are the exact same truck as the current ST-X with the 140kw diesel. I told my dealer I will think about whether I will go through with the order as the delivery date gets close(late January) they were ok with that as they are happy to have an order in as that ensures that they will get a car as they are going to be hard to get initially. The 7 speed auto is pretty cool though. I will probably wait and look at the new Ford Ranger Wildtrak in July with the 5 cyl 3.2 diesel and 6 speed auto as the local Ford dealer manager rekons they will be around $55K
