Thought I'd quickly introduce myself now that I have finally picked up my Navara:
2006 Morpho Blue Outlaw Auto D/Cab.
First impression is how have I managed without one all of these years.

It's my first diesel and I really thought I would feel the drop in performance coming from my previous cars (Impreza WRX
Nissan 200sx (s13 & s14a), BMW 330Ci (e46) to name a few recent ones) but what the Navara lacks in performance (and tbh it aint a lot) it more than makes up for in pretty much every other way. Safe to say that I'm impressed!

I was in the market for an estate, needing the space with a growing family but nothing caught my eye until a friend mentioned the Navara.
Always had a soft spot for the D22 and the butcher looks of the D40 and the more i thought about it the more it made sense.

I'll post some pics once my image hosting sorts itself out. Oh and great forum by the way! Look forward to kicking around....

*edited to attach pic - which was taken during my first green lane experience - awesome BTW*

Cheers guys - it's awfully standard apart from the mountaintop roll n lock and the alpine Bluetooth headunit I'm fitting at the weekend.

I need to sort out the passenger side step as the paint has flaked and I quite like the stainless door handles and wing mirror covers but might hang on a bit for those as I'm not completely convinced by the bling look.

Really enjoying the space it affords and not that I condone muscling people out of the way but the road presence is phenomenal!

Must admit, Black is my favourite colour for the 5 minutes it's clean but the morpho blue is less commercial looking I find...
