FORTE Specialist Injector Cleaner, best I have ever used.
You will struggle to get this in a motor factors etc as it is a trade only product, possibly best place is Ebay, make sure you get the SIC and not the general system cleaner.
Do NOT use the old trick of filling the filter with neat product, it is far too powerful for this.
Re addiction:
This is another 'old wives tale' that is rubbish, usually associated with Easy Start.
People start using products like easy start etc because the engine has a problem, using it cures the bad starting, so they don't fix the root cause of the fault, just keep on spraying it.
It is people that get addicted to this stuff, because they can't be ar**ed to fix the fault.
Don't get me wrong, it is really good and useful, I use it, but only on engine re-builds and initial start ups, and to start a defective engine to actually find the fault.
A good engine will always start without Redex or anything else, other than fuel and a healthy injector/carburetor system.
Nothing wrong with a good system/specialist cleaner now and again, or on a regular basis.

How would you recommend to use the product then if you would not put it in the filter?

Would you add it to the fuel tank?

Depends how dirty you think the injectors are?
If it is just for a routine clean up, 1 can to a full tank.
If really dirty then 1 can to half a tank.
I have known it to be used it on a MOT emissions failure in half a tank, the car then driven around for 20-30 minutes put back on the tester and passed.
Forte engine flush is also superb, I have seen sludge literally dissolve as I have poured it into the rocker cover, once the insides are clean I usually put 1/2 litre of diesel fuel into the hot oil, run the engine at a fast idle for 10 minutes then drop it.
Blanking the EGR system keeps oil cleaner for very much longer.

Just seen you have already blanked yours, good move.

Just be careful if useing oil flush products alot of engines (navaras included) when drained still hold a fair amount of oil,of which if a flush has been used will contain a small amount of that

Regarding the diesel in the oil ive heard that before but never tryed it

When I started nearly 50 years ago we used to use paraffin, this was on Vauxhalls, Fords, Triumphs etc.
I've used diesel at just about every oil change for years, insides of engines remain pretty well spotless, my neighbour was once told (by a mobile mechanic(?) he needed a new engine in a Mondeo due to a hydraulic tappet seizing up.
Admittedly he used to abuse the car ignoring servicing etc, oil was like treacle, after trying the diesel/oil trick and running the engine at high revs for well over half an hour, I was about to admit defeat and reached to turn it off, just as I reached for the key it suddenly stopped knocking and ran like a Swiss watch.
He kept the Mondeo for another couple of years, but never learnt his lesson, it was never serviced again while he had it.

modern engines with the correct oil should not need a flush, if you do flush it, its best to use a sacrificial cheap oil straight afterwards then drain that after about 5 mins of running, the main reason is they will still hold the flushing additive in the turbo oil feeds/coolers etc which older engines never had, your basically taking a huge lump of life out of your oil by contaminating it with what is frankly glorified paraffin/diesel mix in most tins, a good synthetic will clean the engine very well. you will also need 2 filters
