Please read my entire post. I edited it on two separate occasions, correcting/updating myself, the latest being almost six hours ago.

As I say, are you certain you are releasing the clip adequately? I am guessing you have a six pin connector, as opposed to any spade connector?

Precisely. Trust me, those clips are a nightmare. Give it another go, and pay particular attention to making sure the retaining clip is fully disengaged.

It should pull free once you do this.

I've literally been trying for hours but cant seam to find the clip to be able to push in or down to be able to unpop them? Soooo frustrating!

Indeed, they're designed to be seriously tight and secure.

Take a decent photo for me, and hopefully I can guide you further.

yea they bloody are!

managed to get a pic but not the best lighting so just using the flash on the phone and is about the best angle I can get sorry.

its the black clip where all the wires are going into

The body of the headlamp is completely obscuring the view of the connector.

Not an easy spot to get a photo.

There is a locking tab, which locks the connector home, it is this which you need to release.

Yea they certainly don't make it easy! Where is the clip so I can have a fondal later again!

Yeah, it's going to be on the side of the connector itself, and probably pretty flush.

In THIS picture, you can see the locking clip on the side of the black connector. Yours should be similar.

Ah thanks look like it might be further down on the side I'll have a good play around with it later this avo! There is no way of removing the headlight either without removing the bumper is there?

Remove the battery box to make room, then squeeze the clip on the plug with needle nosed pliers.
The 5 minutes it takes to remove the battery box is worth it.
