How do you remove an alternator from a Navarra D40 2.5 TD

Hi,
Could anyone let me know how i remove an alternator from a Nissan Navarra D40 2.5 Diesel.

I should losen the tensioner
undo the top bolt

The bottom bolt? How do you get that cap thing off?

Any assistance greatly appreciated!

That's the top of the bolt, the cap thing is actually a special locking tab which is part of the bolt.

You need to get at the nut on the underside of the alternator, obviously you don't need to worry about the bolt turning.
